Hi smile.gif

I've been out of the loop of triggering Warcraft for a while now - then today I opened up my editor and loaded in some of my maps; and found that none of them want to save/compile/play; instead generating a slew of compile errors.

I suspect something relatively minor has changed during one of the patches, but I don't know for sure - so if somebody could point me to (or explain) how this can be fixed, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Mainly 1.24 broked maps as it fixed, removed, and added new functions and stuff. Anything else that relates to the those like return bugs are completely bugged out, well for us anyways, to blizzard, it's fixed. Major change in 1 patch really, more details in:

In short, shadowing and return bug were removed. Hashtables were added (much faster than GameCache, and also solves the problem of the sync bug). GetHandleId() is to be used now instead of H2I().

If you are having difficulty making maps compatible with the new script requirements, check out this thread on Wc3c.

They kind of had to fix it once arbitrary bytecode execution was discovered.
