I can't believe a post this old and with so many votes isn't potential.

Yes, the idea is risky, it can be great or it can suck, it still need to be balanced up, but the concept is good. You have my tup.gif.

The only late-game consumable that is available right now is the Cheese from Roshan.

I think that your item would unbalance the game, change the way it's played. Perma-pushing is not such a viable option now. You have to achieve it through hero and item picks. There are other items/skills that aim to that. Mekansm, Arcane ring, Voodo restoration, Omni's ulti, Dazzle's healing wave, Yurnero's ward come to mind. Also, by late game most casters have HUGE mana pools plus heavy mana regen items and most melee heroes have some kind of lifesteal (Vlad's, Satanic, various skils).

I think that this item would give the team with the upper hand an even greater advantage. So I'm thinking of a T-d. Please try to convince me otherwise.

I love it.  T-up.

Many DPS heroes have great difficulty lategame due to a lack of regen - and a lack of viability for regen or lifesteal items.  Some include: Drow, Viper, Weaver, etc.

So you do your job during pushes, you deal a shitload of damage, you naturally get targeted and survive with a sliver of hp, only to have absolutely no choice but to go back to the fountain.  You can't wait it out and play passive for a bit until you've regened, you can't go whack neuts, you're just bona fide fucked.

This solves it.  Nothing more to say.
