We've had some expressed interest in moving the Fire & Ice CA Qualifier dates back to August 21st-23rd, which is right before ESWC.  Initially we wanted to avoid scheduling and traveling conflicts, but it actually may benefit teams who want to bootcamp before ESWC.

Food for thought:
--San Jose is 460 miles (7 hours+ drive) from San Diego
--Airfare between the 2 cities is about $130
--The combine time in CA for both event would be 7-8 days.

Any other thoughts?

Yes, but it sounds similar to "Fire n Ice" which can be interpreted as "Fire and Ice"

The first event was Fire in Ice since we held the event in a winter setting.

We renamed the series since we expanded the format to a Summer and Winter series (hence Fire & Ice).  Also people were getting confused since it's more common to say Fire & Ice.

For all you haters just type this:

-weather moonlight

....

-weather fireandice .... anyone?
