Thank you for visiting my remake suggestion for Medusa the Gorgon's Split Shot skill. In my opinion this skill is really only useful for farming, and pushing, but not in team fights or killing Roshan, or killing somebody 1v1.
I propose to change this skill...
Medusa magically splits her shot into three arrows. These arrows deal a lower percent of her normal damage.
Level 1 - 45% damage
Level 2 - 55% damage
Level 3 - 65% damage
Level 4 - 75% damage
Into this skill...
Medusa magically clones every arrow she fires. The cloned arrows deal less damage than the original arrow, and the original is slightly weakened as well.
Level 1 - 35% damage cloned arrows, 22% damage original arrow
Level 2 - 45% damage cloned arrows, 45% damage original arrow
Level 3 - 55% damage cloned arrows, 67% damage original arrow
Level 4 - 65% damage cloned arrows, 90% damage original arrow
Now, what the difference between these skills is, is that instead of three arrows dealing 3/4 of your damage, you have two arrows dealing much less damage, but the arrow to your attack target deals more.
An example of this, is that if you are attacking three enemy melee creeps, all at full health, with 100 damage per shot, the creep you right click on will take 90 damage, and the other will take 65 damage.
Now overall this is a nerf to her split shotting damage, a small nerf, but still a nerf, in the above scenario, each attack (of three arrows) deals 220 damage, while the old split shot deals 225 in the same attack, however this makes the skill more useful for two things.
A. Dealing some AOE damage to weaken multiple enemy heroes, but still dealing significant damage to the one you are trying to kill.
B. Killing an enemy hero, while clearing creeps for ultimates such as Omnislash, Eclipse, and Chain Frost.
