Great guide as always. Perhaps you could add a picture sequence of creep blocking. wink.gif  I see you took the format from your Juggernaut guide. tup.gif

IMO The most powerful weapon is knowledge/information
If you know where your opponents are/what they can do, you can pick your battles accordingly and come out victorious

Uh.  Sure.  Well then.

I found none of this useful, but I am sure people are able to find ways to integrate such advice into the every day DotA game.

Very good guide, very descriptive, and intuitive advice. However in the laning chapter, I don't neccisarily agree that you should try to keep a balence in the HP in you and your opponents creep waves, and only use one hit to kill or deny a creep. A very important aspect to laning is using your mana and spells to their full potential. For example, a good Lina player, one they have reached level 7, will use dragon slave as follows:

Hit the ranged creep once, so that it's hp is low enough for the spell to kill it, wait for your creeps to bring one of your opponents melee creeps to low enough hp so that the spell will kill it, then fire the spell so that it kills both creeps, and harrasses your opponent at the same time.

The laning phase could have used a section to explain using your spells properly in lane. Here's another example. Say you are playing morphling. If there is one creep between your creep wave and your opponent, wait untill the creeps hp is low enough so that waveform will kill it. Wave through the creep, and behind your opponent, letting your creeps and yourself get in hits on him.

You should also include a section on creep blocking. Regardless, very nice guide and it definately deserves 5 stars.

But I'm sure your brother could have written a better guide cool.gif

Just as a suggestion, you could put something about knowing the moves of the game and the mana costs/cd to better plan your attacks.

It's a pretty good guide, but most people would be inclined to skip a lot of it, as lots is just common sense.

p.s. the quote is 'the pen is mightier than the sword', but yours works too.
