I get people asking:
QUOTE
Why don't you have a profile?

QUOTE
Can you write a profile, so we know more about you?

I find this rather puzzling.
Its like asking a masked person, who they are.
They are behind a mask, if they wanted you to know who they were, then they would not be wearing it in the first place.
The same goes for on the Internet. If someone wanted you to know who they were, they would not be going under user names such as:they would have the user names:So, you can now see the problem I'm faced, what to write, and what not to write...
If I wanted you to know who I was, I would of chosen a user name of Kyro, instead of Evolve.
But alas, I did not...

So where does that leave us, I guess that is up to you. . . ?

If you want to know who is to blame for not writing a profile, you need only look into a mirror.

One might argue that aliases are not simply for anonymity, but a means to distinguish yourself from the multitudes that share your real name. Imagine the number of Brians and Garys out there. tongue.gif

Anonymity does not come from only a name, nor does it differentiate yourself from the millions of other people on the internet.
Why?
Because to be anonymous the function behind the name must remain hidden, and thus you are hidden, what functions behind the visage of your user name is not you, unless you allow it to be, but then you are no longer anonymous are you...

A profile, is nothing more than describing the function behind the user name. Some describe them selfs, some describe that which only exists in ones mind.

My question to those reading this, are you the real or the imaginary one?

But how can you present an identity or visage that is not inevitably a by-product of your persona, no matter how distinct it may appear from how you present yourself in real life?

Oh wait, if you've made a staff profile does that mean I'm the only one left who hasn't? sad.gif

1. Yeah, maybe but that still doesn't detract from the fact it's theoretically impossible to be anonymous, unless you completely abstain from expressing yourself.

2. Well ... I may just have to prove you wrong. Give me like ... a week, two or three? smile.gif

Is the mask symbolism for GAR Shades?

More for the avatar that is the user name, rather than a pair of sun glasses which people spammed me to get.
