When I was young, I was already into computer games. My brother played alot so I got to play and see the games my mother didn't want me to see. Thanks to Youtube and the internet, I've been able to revive some of those memories with some clips and stuff. I dunno, it just seems cool seeing and remembering certain parts of these games after all these years. A few of these games:

Phantas Magoria : Some interactive horror game with real characters. Scared the shit out of me when I was young, that is prolly why I still remember each of the crazy murders in there. http://www.i-mockery.com/minimocks/phantasmagoria/

Normality : Always had so much toruble with this game. Managed to finish it with my borther after quite a while though! Don't know why I remember it so well, most likely because it took us so long to finish. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vhs4q0azdGQ

Sam & Max Hit the Road : Always made me laugh, hard to finish aswell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_ZT-uhwUrU

Tyrian : I was always obsessed with getting the best weapons and was always convinced there were at least sòme weapons which I didn't have yet, so I kept playing for a long time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqFja4IGvtg

Does anyone remember these games? Any other games that always stuck by you? Kind of interesting to hear the stories, see if they are anything similar to mine. smile.gif

Always liked warcraft II, tried reinstalling it, but couldn't play it. I set the mouse scroll to minimum and when i try to move the map, it still goes to the edge in a split second. QQ

Also, there's this obscure racing game called megarace that i used to like a lot. I tried reinstalling it and the game ran at about 10 times the speed its supposed to run at. I died from crashing the wall about 10 times while trying to complete the last level. But i completed it in 45 minutes ROFL.png (used to take hours and hours)

Was that the 'have a nice death' announcer game.

If you're running it on dosbox you could simply set the cpu cycles lower so it doesn't run like it's on crack

I still go back and play through Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask every other year or so.  I didn't get into computer games until 6-7 years ago but I had SNES/64/PS2 before it.  I have the Donkey Kong Country games and I go through those 3 all the time as well.

I somehow remember WC as an imbalanced game, with the summons (water elementals and demon thingies) being super-powerful.

I played AOE1 when i was young, and i was a horrible player back then. Took hittites and massed heavy catapults without any units to protect them, and somehow won the AI.

The fun was getting new (and when I was that age that immediatly meant better) weapons and upgrade them. The game was horribly easy anyway. ofc all those SNES classics which I even still play now are great. Chrono Trigger I never discovered untill a few years ago, unfortunately.

the original zelda.
i think i was about 4 when i first played it.
never have beaten the 2nd quest in it either. i always get lost or a room full of blue armor knights frusterates me.

brigandine.
imo, its one of the best hex strategy games.
came out for ps1.
a re-made version called brigandine grand edition was released only in japan.
i recently found the rom for this gem. converted it to psp and have been playing the shit out of it lately.

warcraft 2 is one im sure most of us share.
i still think the dark portal campaign is near impossible :/

diablo.
the game blew my mind. nothing was more fun when this first came out.
battle.net didnt exist back then, but single player was still amazing.
