IPB Image Clinkz - Bone Fletcher

Clinkz, for some reason, has one of the lowest base damages in the game (37-43). This is pretty brutal considering other rangers can get around (49-56).Along with higher damage, Clinkz needs more mana to make him a more effective assassin, i was thinking of...

Old Base Damage:
37 - 43

New Base Damage:
44 - 50

Old Stats:  
Strength - 15 + 1.6
Agility - 22 + 3.0
Intelligence - 18 + 1.55

New Stats:  
Strength - 15 + 1.8
Agility - 22 +3.0
Intelligence - 18 + 2.0

Skills

IPB Image Strafe-
Fire a large number of arrows in a short time period.

Level 1 - 20% increased attack speed (90 mana)
Level 2 - 40% increased attack speed (90 mana)
Level 3 - 60% increased attack speed (90 mana)
Level 4 - 80% increased attack speed (90 mana)
Cooldown: 30 seconds.

Skill is fine the way it is, except the cooldown could be reduced to 20 seconds instead of 30.

IPB Image Searing Arrows-
Increases the damage of the Hero's attack by adding fire.

Level 1 - 10 bonus damage (8 mana)
Level 2 - 20 bonus damage (8 mana)
Level 3 - 30 bonus damage (8 mana)
Level 4 - 40 bonus damage (8 mana)
Cooldown: 2/2/0/0

Skill is completely fine the way it is.

IPB Image Wind Walk-
Turn invisible for a period of time, increasing movement speed.

Level 1 - 10% increased movement speed, 20 seconds (75 mana)
Level 2 - 20% increased movement speed, 25 seconds (75 mana)
Level 3 - 30% increased movement speed, 30 seconds (75 mana)
Level 4 - 40% increased movement speed, 35 seconds (75 mana)
Cooldown: 20 seconds.

Skill is completely fine the way it is.

Ultimate

IPB Image Skeletal Longevity-
Strengthens the bones of the hero, increasing the armour and returning a small amount of damage.

Level 1 - 3.3 additional armour, 3.3% thorns aura (Only Clinkz)
Level 2 - 6.6 additional armour, 6.6% thorns aura (Clinkz and very small radius)
Level 3 - 10 additional armour, 10% thorns aura (Clinkz and small radius)
Passive

The reason i added the ultimate as a passive effect is because Clinkz already has 3 active spells, reducing his ability to assassinate. Please feel free to review, and try to help improve this build.

Hmmm... and why does he needs a thorn aura?  
His weakness isn't physical damage at all.  

So I don't get the point of the new ultimate.

The whole point of the new ultimate is the armour bonus, to help him survive longer. The thorns aura just seemed to kinda go with the higher armour bonus.

Doesn't fit with his role at all. And having this is quite redundant with WW as a survival skill.

Since you have only changed the ultimate majorly, might I suggest re-tooling your suggestion to make it, and solely it, the full suggestion? In other words, get rid of the rest of the skills and focus on telling us why this should be remade.

sorry i think clinkz is a great made hero i dont think he should be changed

Err, I don't see a reason about thorns aura, or either the armor bonus.

He can gain a lot of armor with Agility based items (Butterfly, Yasha)

And also Thorn's Amor concept is already used for Centaur's Return

what he needs is spell damage reduction along with his death pact.

In your post you are keen on the idea that he is an assassin.I agree with that.What I don't understand is if he is an assassin then why not give him an assassin's skill.
You gave him a skill that would fit perfectly on tanks, not assassins.
It has no synergy with his theme and his other skills.It doesn't help him in any way, because he dies to nukes mostly, not to physical damage.

Death pact is way more useful than a minor Damage return aura or armor bonus could ever be.

This is pointless the ultimate you suggest is really weak doesn't fit him at all

3.3 armor & 3.3% thorns aura?

3.3% thorns aura is weak 3 damage to enemy for every 100 damage dealt to you? no way!

And thorns is not for a hero who is hiding 50% of the time

Armor bonus? Clinx is NOT A TANK...

I agree with everything above and btw:
why would he need a stronger damage base when he has a +40 damage bonus with his second spell...
and with a proper build he doesn't need that much mana...

I understand your a new poster, but two reasons why this won't work

1) Clinkz is not a tank, increased armor and thorns is pointless for him

2) The armor/thorns is very weak for an ultimate

Thread starter: At this point, your suggestion has either received less than 60% positive votes or will not be able to reach that ratio at a total of 15 votes. Seeing as how this rating is a reflection of the community's opinion regarding the viability of your suggestion, I'm afraid this particular proposal isn't quite ready for DotA yet. If you belive this idea is worth a second chance, I advise you to rethink it as a whole. Reposting it without fundamental modifications would serve little if any purpose - it will just be as badly received by the community as this one has. Anyhow, good luck with your future suggestions!
